“My practice arises from a longstanding interest in colour and space. I aim for synthesised minimal/conceptual visual outcomes, often pertaining to ‘landscape’, both externally and internally”.

He has won and been repeatedly shortlisted for Australian national art prizes (Wynne, Sulman, Moet & Chandon (Fellow), Redland Art Award) including a winning entry in the Blake Prize for Religious Art in 1998 and the ‘Open section’ of the Fishers’ Ghost Prize in 1994.
