Beatrice (b.1994, United Kingdom) is a ceramics sculptor, living and working in London. She explores the concept of multi-dimensionality and liminal spaces. Creating abstract sculptures driven by her direct and intuitive approach to her practice. Using process-based abstraction; she creates playful and intriguing forms through merging opposing forms; including the geometric and organic, playing with scale, manipulation of context, and colour, to create works that are suggestive and act as prompts.
Beatrice studied an MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art (2018 – 2020), BA in Fine Art at Newcastle University (2018-2014) and a Foundation Diploma at Kingston University (2013). Beatrice is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptures. Beatrice received her DYCP arts council grant in August 2025. Recent exhibitions included: ‘From here to …’, London Art Fair, Caroline Fisher Projects, (2025), and ‘Abstract Vernacular’, Hosted by Hypha Studios, Curated by TSM, London (2024), ‘Sculptural Interventions’ at Hilliers Gardens as part of CAS sculptural development award (2024). She has also been shortlisted for many prizes including; The Rising Star Award at New Ashgate gallery in 2021 and The Charlotte Fraser Ceramic and Glass Prize in 2022.
