I am an artist-printmaker based in Brighton where I make prints at Volcanic Editions. I construct allegorical settings to describe and comment upon injustices. My work has serious intent, but I use humour, bathos and surprise to engage my audience. I make compositions with many layers, combining imagery from paper-sculpted, hand-drawn, photographic and digitally mediated sources, and enjoy the scope that screen print and photopolymer etching offer for putting together the unexpected and for revealing systems of both literal and ideological representation. I am an Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (elected 2022), and part of the collective, LOOP: Artists in Print, with whom I exhibit regularly. In 2025 I was shortlisted for the Flourish Award for Excellence in Printmaking.
