Direct gyotaku on Wenzhou paper 35 x 25 x 0 cm 2025 My artworks explore the concept of 'nature' and its relationship with human beings. I create prints using a variety of flora, fauna and occasionally man-made objects which act as the print matrix. The majority of my impressions float in an undefined, etheral space, devoid of backgrounds or contextual narratives. My work pays homage to the transcience of living beings and alludes to the effects of human activity upon the natural world. I produce limited editions and unique pieces including artists books, printed collages and installations. Aromas form an integral part of my installations.
