Monotype Print Assemblage 49 x 42 x 3.5 cm 2024 I am a London based artist predominantly working on paper, and recently I have concentrated on Monotype printmaking as my main artistic activity. Although I also draw from life prolifically, when in the print studio I work very instinctively, creating an image on the printing plate, then disrupting it. Letting the image evolve through the marks that appear and disappear, and just using my instincts to decide when to put it through the printing press. Embracing and steering the accidental, but always finding myself drawn back to certain motifs and themes that play out within constructed frames.
